Parking and Directions to the Campion Ballroom, Seattle University

The Campion Ballroom is located in the Campion Tower at Seattle University at 914 E Jefferson St, Seattle, WA 98122. Campion Tower is located between East Jefferson Street and East James Street on the south side of campus. The entrance is on the north side of Campion Tower, just past the Murphy parking garage at 11th & E. Cherry.

Parking

Parking at the Murphy Garage at 11th & E. Cherry is complimentary.  Please tell the attendant you are there for the NW Energy Coalition event and they will give you a parking pass for your vehicle.  You may also park on the street or in nearby pay lots.  We encourage you to carpool or take one of several bus routes nearby, visit metro.kingcounty.gov

Route MT 3 MADRONA AND 34TH AVE
Route MT 4 JUDKINS PARK

Leaving from Southbound 3rd & Union and arriving at E. Jefferson St. & 12th Ave.

Driving Directions

Heading NORTH on I-5:
Take exit #164A, which is “James Street, Dearborn Street, Madison Avenue/I-90.” Take the James Street Exit, but note you will have to merge right over several lanes of traffic. At the exit, turn right (east) at the light onto James Street and go up a large hill for several blocks. The hill crests at Broadway; there is a sign pointing straight ahead to Seattle University. Within a short distance you will pass under the skybridge, and the street will change to E. Cherry Street. IMMEDIATELY after that, turn right (south) at the 11th and E. Cherry garage sign. The garage entrance is located around the corner to the right. You may park anywhere in the garage (except for spots clearly marked as reserved for disabled, carpool, security or maintenance). Once you leave the parking structure, head southwest toward the Campion Tower/Ballroom.

Heading SOUTH:
Exit at James Street, exit #165A. At the second light, turn left (east) onto James Street and go up a large hill for several blocks. The hill crests at Broadway; there is a sign pointing straight ahead to Seattle University. Within a short distance you will pass under the skybridge, and the street will change to E. Cherry Street. IMMEDIATELY after that, turn right (south) at the 11th and E. Cherry garage sign. The garage entrance is located around the corner to the right. You may park anywhere in the garage (except for spots clearly marked as reserved for disabled, carpool, security or maintenance). Once you leave the parking structure, head southwest toward Campion Tower/Ballroom.

From I-90:
From I-90 westbound, take the exit toward I-5 (toward Vancouver). If you stay to the right the whole time, you will come from I-90 and end up on the lane that exits right onto James Street. At the exit, turn right (east) at the light onto James Street and go up a large hill for several blocks. The hill crests at Broadway; there is a sign pointing straight ahead to Seattle University. Within a short distance you will pass under the skybridge, and the street will change to E. Cherry Street. IMMEDIATELY after that, turn right (south) at the 11th and E. Cherry garage sign. The garage entrance is located around the corner to the right. You may park anywhere in the garage (except for spots clearly marked as reserved for disabled, carpool, security or maintenance). Driving Directions

Directions From Northbound I-5 and Sea-Tac Intl Airport North

From the Airport, follow signs “To Freeways”
Travel Northbound on I-5 to downtown Seattle
Take Seneca Street Exit.  Turn right on 6th Avenue
Turn left on Pine Street.  Turn left on 5th Avenue
The Red Lion Hotel is located on right side, midway
between Pike & Union Streets

Directions From Southbound I-5

Traveling Southbound on I-5, take Union Street Exit

Turn right on 4th Avenue and travel one block
Turn right on Pike Street, travel on block
Turn right on 5th Avenue, travel one-half block
The Red Lion Hotel is located on right side, midway between Pike & Union Streets

Parking

Parking is available at the Red Lion on a first come, first serve basis.  The rate for 6-10 hours on Friday is $25 per day and the rate for Saturday is $8.  There is also parking available nearby at City Centre Parking or Rainier Square Parking for similiar rates.  Please download the map of these parking locations.
