NW Energy Coalition Summary - NW Power and Conservation Council's Fifth Power and Conservation Plan

The Northwest Power and Conservation Council ("Council") is required to produce a regional power plan once every five years. The just-released Fifth Power Plan ("Plan") is the result of a detailed cost- and risk-analysis forecast covering the next 20 years. The Plan is a blueprint detailing which resource decisions the region's utilities and regulators should make to best serve its citizens, with the goal of producing a reliable regional power supply with the least cost and risk
